Recent Commission Spotlight: Padmé Repaints

I’m thrilled to share a recent pair of commission dolls I completed—two Tonner repaints of Natalie Portman as Padmé Amidala from Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.

🌸 Picnic Gown Padmé

For this version, I gave this Tonner doll a full reroot with spiral curls, creating a soft, romantic, yet whimsical vibe—the renaissance of Padmé. Her headband was hand-embroidered by me, adding a delicate personal touch. The repaint leans into the romantic side of her character, brought to life with artist-grade acrylics, PanPastels, and many layers of UV sealer.

🌊 Lake Gown Padmé

The Lake gown version features a softer, more ethereal repaint, and I also rerooted this doll. The real challenge here was the headdress. I hand-sculpted each piece, worked the hair into the famous seashell spiral, and attached the headband elements one at a time.

Padmé is truly one of my muses in repainting; I’ve done many versions and adore her face.

🤝 Working with Morgan May

Both gowns were beautifully created by Morgan May of Stardust Dolls, and I’ve loved collaborating with her for many years. Her work is detailed, professional, and absolutely stunning, making it a joy to dress my repaints.

It’s always a thrill to combine our talents.
